Kindergarten Gradual Entry

Families with children entering Kindergarten will receive the gradual entry schedule later this week. Your child will have been placed in either Group 1 or Group 2, and for the first four days they will alternate morning and afternoon sessions. After that, both groups will attend at the same time, and on Tuesday Sept. 20th (first full day of Kindergarten), they will be placed into their specific classrooms for the year. The letter you will receive will indicate which initial group your child has been placed in. The gradual entry process enables our staff to have far more one-to-one interaction with each child to help us determine the best possible placements and help us create balanced classes.
