Mr. Doray’s Summer Writing Prompts

I will be sending a different writing prompt every one-two weeks for students to try their hands at. Please send me your stories to gdoray@sd83.bc.ca and I will send you my responses. I will plan to look at my email each Friday and respond shortly thereafter. Keep reading and writing, Wildcats!

Also, please share with me any books that you are reading that you would recommend to your classmates and I will put together a list for our webpage.

June – 30th: Incorporate this sentence into your short story, “From the moment I opened the door, I knew my life would never be the same.” (Who is involved? Where and When does this story take place? Why does this character find himself/herself in this life changing moment? What type of story is this? (scary, funny, mysterious, etc.)
